As I write this, we as a country are still in the grips of the Covid-19 pandemic. I've heard many different opinions from people and institutions who claim to be in the know, but do they really? I can't answer that as I don't know what information they do or don't have.
What I do know. A lot of businesses are suffering, and yet some are thriving, a lot of people are scared, and yet so many seem indifferent. The best part is, I see lots who are hopeful. Hopeful that as we phase back into daily life we can all regain some normalcy and still hold onto this newfound sense of togetherness that has grown from this pandemic. I can't remember a time when so many neighbors were so friendly or graciously offering to help in any way. I'm hopeful that we as a country remember the sacrifices that those who were considered essential made in order for us to have the groceries we needed, the packages we ordered while stuck at home on our computers, the healthcare workers providing exceptional service, all the janitors who were there to keep up on sanitation, and anyone else that wasn't able to stay home.
I'm sure a lot of us have missed out on the activities we were looking forward to. I've missed many date nights with my wife, car shows and swap meets, home and garden shows, plant sales, and outdoor adventures with my family. What have you missed out on? Maybe you're in a part of the country that is already open or never really shut down. Wherever you are, I hope you're staying healthy in all circles of your life.
Where I'm located we're not quite in phase 2 yet of opening up, looks like another week or two. I'm hopeful that as we open our region of the world that we don't have an increase in cases. I pray that all those who have been effected by this pandemic can again find peace and joy. I may not have been impacted by the loss of family or friends, but I know many hundreds of thousands have. Whether you lost a grandparent, a parent, a child, or a friend, my heart goes out to you and I keep you in my prayers.
As we all move forward. What goals do you want to achieve in the second half of 2020? I, for one, have many goals I'd like to achieve this year, and I'm trying to stay as positive as possible while pivoting when needed to stay on track. Do you have any real estate goals I can help you with this year? Want to work through goal planning for personal achievements you're striving for?! I'm here!
